e-con systems announces the launch of e-CAM30_CUTX1, 3.4 Megapixel 4 lane MIPI CSI-2 board for Nvidia Jetson Tegra X1 kit. This camera is based on 1/3 inch AR0330 CMOS Image sensor from ON Semiconductor with 2.2 µm pixel and A-Pix technology. It enables an excellent low-light performance and can capture good quality images even at 0.5 lux. It has an S-mount(M12) lens holder which allows customers to change the lens according to their requirement.
This camera can be directly connected to camera connector(J22) on the NVIDIA® Jetson TX1 Development Kit. e-CAM30_CUTX1 is exposed as a standard V4L2 device and customers can use the V4L2 APIs to access this camera and control the same.
e-CAM30_CUTX1 streams (Full HD) 1080p@30ps, HD (720p)@ 30fps and 3.4MP @30fps.

It houses high performance, small form factor, 3.4 MP pluggable Low Light Camera Module with S-Mount lens holder. It is based on AR0330 – a 3.4MP CMOS Image sensor from ON Semiconductor.
It has a dedicated, high-performance Image Signal Processor chip (ISP) on-board that performs the entire Auto functions (Auto White Balance, Auto Exposure control) in addition to complete image signal processing pipeline that provides best-in-class images, videos and the optional MJPEG compressions.

Linux Camera Driver source code can be ported to any NVIDIA Tegra X1 platform and even to support the secondary MIPI CSI-2 interface of Tegra X1.
