On 26th October 2017, AMD announced AMD Ryzen Mobile processor, previously named as “Raven Ridge”. Now AMD Ryzen 7 7200U and AMD Ryzen 5 2500U APU packs a Combination of AMD zen X-86 core processor and Radeon Vega Graphics. This combination is configurable to 15-W TDP for Ultra-thin Notebooks, convertibles. It also packs AMD SenseMI Technology which handles intelligence at processor level. This System-on-chip(SoC) with vega graphics deigned to provide great graphic performance.

AMD Ryzen 7 7200U is the fastest APU as claimed from AMD providing 44% performance in multi-threaded CPU performance and 161% graphics performance than competition.

Radeon Vega GPU provides the Elite performance in demanding titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, CS:GO and DOTA 2.

GPU also provides most advanced and beautiful displays including HDR, Radeon Freesync 2 and 4K technology.

Also, AMD have took initiative that they will achieve the 25x efficiency in 2020. So, looking for this initiative, AMD Ryzen 7 2700U processor enabling a 5.86X energy efficiency improvement since the beginning of the initiative.

Mobile APUs will be available from top manufacturers including Acer, HP and Lenovo, with further platform updates expected from Dell, Asus and other OEMs in early 2018.

Acer is bringing out its first Ryzen Mobile Processor with Vega Graphics in their Acer Swift 3 Notebooks.

The HP Envy x360 is the second laptop to be announced with AMD Ryzen on board.
